Following the investment promotion delegates from the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba in 2016 and 2017, UNIDO ITPO Tokyo hosted Mr. Marcel Casas, Trade Policy Executive Officer, International Relations of the Chamber from 12 to 20 March 2018 to further promote investments from Japan to Cuba.
During his stay in Japan, Mr. Marcel Casas visited Tokyo, Sapporo, Nagoya, Kyoto and Osaka, and promoted investment opportunities in Cuba through meetings with Japanese companies as well as business organizations. He also gave a presentation at the seminars held in Sapporo and Tokyo, elaborating on the recent business climate in Cuba and potential business sectors and investment projects for Japanese companies.
