UNIDO ITPO Tokyo invited Mr. Tengiz Asanov, Deputy Head of the Investment Climate and Ratings Department, Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, from 21 October to 3 November 2023.
Mr. Asanov’s Profile
Mr. Asanov has expertise in economics and finance and has been working for the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a commercial bank before joining the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade in 2019. He was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Investment Climate and Rating Department in 2020.
Mr. Asanov’s Activities during the Delegate Programme
During his stay in Japan, Mr. Asanov joined the “Uzbekistan Business and Investment Seminar” hosted in Nagoya to promote business and investment in Uzbekistan. During the seminar, he gave a report on the foreign investment status in Uzbekistan and introduced potential sectors to invest. In addition, Mr. Asanov joined a Roundtable to discuss on investment to Uzbekistan, as well as held a total of 13 meetings with private sectors and discussed various issues.
