Mr. Ferda Gelegen, Officer-in-Charge of UNIDO ITPO Tokyo, will be the speaker for The Mauritius TICAD8 Official Side Event “Japan-Mauritius: Moving Africa Up the Value Chain” on Wednesday, 21 September 2022.
The Economic Development Board (EDB) Mauritius is organizing an Official Side Event (Webinar) of the 8th Edition of Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD8) themed “Japan-Mauritius: Moving Africa Up the Value Chain” from 15.30-17.30 (Japan Standard Time)/ 10.30-12.30 (Time in Mauritius) on Wednesday 21 September 2022 in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Mauritius, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and United Nations Industrial Development Organization – Investment and Technology Promotion Office (UNIDO ITPO) Tokyo.
This TICAD8 Side Event will provide key insights Mauritius as a platform for Doing Business/ Investing in Africa. The representatives from the Mauritius private sector will also speak on opportunities in the Financial Services, Freeport, E-Commerce, ICT and Manufacturing sectors, and provide updates on “Doing Business/Investment Climate” in Mauritius.
The Webinar will be conducted on Microsoft Teams Platform in English and Japanese. Participation (Admission Fee) is free.
