On Monday, 13 February, UNIDO ITPO Tokyo, in cooperation with Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME) and the Economic and Commercial Bureau of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Japan, will hold a seminar titled “Egypt Suez Canal Economic Zone Investment Opportunities for Japanese companies.” In the seminar, Mr. Waleid Gamaleldien, Chairman of the Suez Canal Special Economic Zone Authority, will present the details of the SCZone as well as investment incentives for Japanese companies. In addition, three Japanese companies (Saraya Co., Ltd., and Toyota Tsusho Corporation) who have invested in the SCZone, will talk about their business experiences in the region. Taking this opportunity, we will hold a physical event titled as “Business and Investment in Senegal – Opportunities from Sandiara Special Economic Zone to West Africa” on 22 November, 2022. Dr. Serigne Gueye Diop will provide a keynote speech, which will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Ms. Ndiaye, UNIDO Tokyo’s advisor in Senegal.
