UNIDO ITPO Tokyo and Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME) are jointly organizing the “Business Mission to Egypt” from 2 to 9 December 2022.

1. Overview
(1) Purpose of the mission |
The overall goal of the Business Mission to Egypt is to provide participants with a better understanding of Egypt’s business and investment environment through meetings with local companies, Government, and Japanese companies who have already invested in Egypt. The target sectors were carefully selected as an outcome of the Egypt Business and Investment Seminar held in October 2021, which was co-hosted by JCCME, UNIDO, and the Economic and Commercial Bureau, Egyptian Embassy. The target sectors for the mission are renewable energy, information and communication technology, healthcare, and others. |

If the number of applicants significantly exceeds the maximum number of participants, we may not be able to meet your request. Also, if the number of participants does not meet the minimum number of participants, the tour may be cancelled.

Each participant is responsible for obtaining his/her passport and visa. In principle, the organizer will make arrangements for airline tickets and accommodations, but in some cases, participants may be asked to make their own arrangements.

Cancellations will not be accepted after the confirmation of participation is sent from the organizer to the participant. However, if a participant is suspected of having an infectious disease or is in close contact with such a person, please contact us as soon as possible.
- As of the announcement on 24 August 2022, Egypt is on Level 1 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Infectious Disease Hazard Information (Level 1: exercise extreme caution). Please be advised that the mission may be canceled or postponed at the discretion of JCCME in view of various circumstances, including the local situation, or for other reasons.
